Zoom meeting with Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (FADP) on Saturday August 27, 16:00-17:00 Central European Time (CET)

As announced in previous bulletins, we are thrilled to be meeting with the FADP via Zoom on Saturday August 27 at 16:00-17:00 Central European Time (CET). (That is 10:00 Florida time.)
Sheila Meehan, board member of the FADP, has organized the content as part of a collaboration with lifespark.
The meeting by Zoom will be of special interest to our members with penfriends in Florida, but all of us will profit from it. Here is the agenda for the four parts of the meeting:
1. Practical ways to make the relationship with your pen friend on Florida’s death row as good as it can be. (Mary Anne Hoffman/Sheila Meehan – FADP Board)
2. Restorative justice and its application in capital murder cases, with reference to FADP’s work. (Maria DeLiberato, FADP Exec. Director)
3. Experiences ministering to prisoners on death row in Florida (Ernie Bono)
4. FADP’s strategy for ending the death penalty and how that strategy fits into the national strategy (Maria DeLiberato and Sarah Craft, Equal Justice USA)
